Teaching A Fish To Swim

Lifetimes ago, or before my face was full of wrinkles, I was introduced to Andrija Puharich. It would take pages to tell that part of the story and it would be missing the point of this blog. You can look him up or wait for my Vimeo I’ll be doing.

Andrija Purharich had Monday night physics classes at his home. It was a blend of physics and the psychic work we were doing. One day he called to make sure I was coming to class.

“Marcel Vogel is flying in and I want you to meet him.” I assured him I’d be there.

I left home early to walk the grounds around his home. Beautiful trees graced the environment. I loved my Pine tree that sat outside my home and wrote poems to and about it.  So there I was talking in silent communion with a lovely grandmother tree.
A man walked up to me and said, “Let me teach you how to communicate with a tree.”

A friend who was with me said: “That’s like teaching a fish how to swim.”

The first man was Marcel Vogel. He was a scientist who also studied liquid crystallography, had a tv show on metaphysics and more. I found that despite his lack of discernment in that moment he, like all of us, had a great deal of kindness and knowledge to share.

What’s my point? No one can teach you to be you! No one can teach you to be psychic, or intuitive. Guides can help you uncover and discover what has been tucked away. Your path is to your soul, your souls guidance is from our Creator.

Our purpose is to keep ourselves grounded with wings wide open. We simply need to notice our gifts and give them a good workout. We all are born with abilities and like fish, we don’t need someone to teach us how to swim in the waters of our own life. We need to love the gifts given to us so our soul can give guidance to our purpose.
