DaVinci style or scattered, which are you?

Ideas grow organically when fertilized with love

There are days that I love going from one activity or project to another. Then there are days that it feels like I start something and bam, a call changes everything, or I suddenly remember I’ve promised to do something.

Over the years the saying, “people make plans, God laughs” has become a reference point I can embrace and live with. I’ve learned when I pile up my desk that there will be a day when I can joyfully clear the desk for at least a few days. I’ve also learned there are days I’m more focused than others. Avoiding sugar (I’ve kicked the habit on and off, currently off) I am healthier, sleep better, far better at getting things done. Then there are the blessings of real essential oils. No, they are usually not found in stores or online. It took me a long time to find real ones, the same quality essential oils that history shows were used for thousands of years. I’d be curious about the ways you have found to center yourself.  Of course if you are a type A person you probably don’t have that issue.   … Or maybe you do?

Da Vinci has been a great source of inspiration for me, as is Walter Russell. The book “The Man Who Tapped The Secrets of the Universe” is about Walter. Both of them had several categories they loved to work in. They each followed a course deep inside their soul that launched them into many fields of interests. That they excelled monumentally need not intimidate those of us, like myself, who may not become a great artist or musician and…so on. It simply opens doors to knowing that I need to focus on one thing at a time, but that other endeavors can be the rejuvenation that cleanses my mental pallet.

I find putting on my task “hat”, sometimes for real and sometimes imaginary helps. I do have a bunch of caps and a few hats. Court TV hat, Biography Channel hat, police commissioner hat (wearing it in public makes for some interesting conversations with strangers), and more. I, in turn may wear the hat of a bookkeeper, file clerk, author, teacher, granny, manager of a business, artist, writer, and each of them are fun. I start with an essential oil diffuser to condition the room I choose to work in for the given hat activity. Next I choose a Young Living oil to diffuse. My go tos are Clarity, Awaken or Highest Potential. Any of these help me focus, It feels like everything is easier with them. The Awaken blend is my choice for organizing my work and completing tasks, particularly the ones I usually leave far too long, like piles of paper and simple to do’s. Clarity blend is perfect for me when I need to stretch into new learnings.
Highest Potential has a special place in my heart because it is perfect for assisting me when I use my gifts.

Years ago I diffused Highest Potential at a psychic development workshop I was leading. Out of 75 people I figured the usual spectrum of outcomes would happen. One or two would not get anything, most would get the feel that it was very useful and a handful would be exceptionally gifted. That did not happen. All 75 grew in leaps and bounds, every one of them was dynamite in finding personal gifts. In reading about this blend I found it supports the Pineal Gland. Hmmm…here’s where it gets interesting. The Pineal Gland is loaded with optical receptors so it is truly the Third Eye! Helping our inner vision, keeping us interested in our inner world. If you don’t know Young Living I would suggest you at least take a peek at this remarkable tool. Check it out in the drop down menu under the HOME button. If interested be sure to connect with me, I’d love to help you on the road to exploring and naturally bringing forth your own gifts.

I’ve decided even when I’m scattered I consider it simply a Renaissance style of being. Curbs the guilts!

To your highest potential!!

Reach for some higher purpose. Go for something beyond what you thought you could do.
